Greetings Soaring Heights Families and Friends,
As we approach the end of the school year, we wanted to take a moment and recognize all of the great activities that closed out our fantastic year of 2021-2022. Innovation night was a huge success with parents and families observing and learning about all the innovative thoughts our students and teachers bring to Soaring Heights.
The Gifted and Talented Shakespeare Performance was enjoyed by all as students showed their dedication to the classics. Band and Orchestra played their hearts out to a packed house as part of their culmination in musical theory. Kindergarten field day had our young students taking the concepts of movement to a fun new level.
Field days have been a huge success for Middle School and 5th grades celebrating the end of a terrific year. Preschool field day with our youngest students enjoyed their festivities. 1st - 4th field day was a success after being rescheduled from our last snow of the spring. Our last Middle School Choir concert for the year was on Monday as melodic voices carried all our thoughts into summer.
An important step in the educational progress of our 5th grade students happened as they “continued” their lifelong learning into middle school while our 8th graders walked across the “bridge” and into high school.
The last day for students and the All School Picnic will be on Thursday, May 26th from 11:15 to 12:15. Please check out with the classroom teacher if you choose to take your student home after the picnic. We will have a regular school day with dismissal at 3:25. We look forward to seeing you and sending your students off into the summer months.
It has been a pleasure working with you and your students. Thank you for your participation, support and dedication to this amazing school community.
Have a safe and wonderful summer! Our office will be open from 8:00-2:00 Monday-Thursday in June and reopen August 1.
Best Wishes,
