(NEW) SCE Quadruples Rebate Offer: Southern California Edison (SCE) is offering a $4,000 rebate (four times the previous $1,000 rebate amount) to income-qualified customers who buy or lease pre-owned electric vehicles (EVs). To qualify, you must either live in a state-designated, income-qualified household or be enrolled in certain state or federal income assistance programs. Learn more and apply

More than $1 million in incentives remain available for the installation of EV charging stations in Ventura County The CALeVIP South Central Coast Incentive Project provides incentives for the purchase and installation of eligible EV chargers at businesses, non-profits, multifamily properties, and government facilities in Ventura County. As of now, more than $1 million in funding for Level 2 EV chargers remains available. Final rebate amounts are determined by the total eligible project costs. Free technical assistance is available to small businesses and multifamily properties serving disadvantaged or low-income communities. You can learn more and apply here.

Building a cheap car that is also profitable for the manufacturer is shockingly difficult. Because of the high cost of battery components, it becomes even more difficult if that car is electric. But Honda and General Motors, two of the biggest car companies in the world, believe they can crack the code to producing a low-cost EV. And they want to do it together.
