Dear Members and Friends

We are forwarding this invitation to our membership from the Pimeria Alta Historical Society for a luncheon and talk on June 11.  

The guest speaker is Sigrid Maitrejean, member of a well known, long time Nogales family.  Sigrid is a former U.S. diplomat who spent time in the Philippines, Thailand, South Africa, Brazil and about a dozen other countries.  Sigrid was a maternal cousin of Ellen Griffin Dunne, who was once married to writer and investigative journalist, Dominick Dunne and helped design and build a home on a portion of the 1200 acres her father, rancher, Tom Griffin, purchased in the 1920s.  Griffin sold the property to actor Stewart Granger, in 1956.
