Hola SHPE Houston!
Howdy Familia! I want to thank you all that came to our scholarship Gala! It was great to see many of you in person after many months of planning and organizing this event and happy that you were able to be part of a Gala that will help us in our mission of changing lives. Thanks to everyone's contributions towards this event, we made a record fundraising that surpassed not only our first goal (10k) but also the goal of the 15k, and with a few more companies pledge of donations our chapter is set to have a record high!! All proceeds will helptr us to upcoming years scholarships.
Election process is done and our next year Board is been elected, thanks to everyone that voted! It will be great to see you all next June 2nd at our Meet the Board of Directors Happy Hour, details are shared in the events section.
Please don't forget about the Houston Professional Chapter when you hear about matching donation programs at your company! Donations through these programs are a huge help towards our scholarship funding every year. If you have questions about this, please reach out to any one of our officers.

Robotics Competition
Saturday June 4th, 2022
Remember your first engineering project in school? The sweat, the tears, the joy. It shapes you and gives you a taste of things to come.
Baylor College of Medicine Biotech Academy @ Rusk and SHPE are partnering up to hold a Regional robotics competition at the University of Houston. Title 1 junior high students will explore the campus, learn from engineers, and ultimately compete.
Whether volunteering at our panel or judging the contest, come and encourage, educate and empower our future engineers!

ESE Cup Volleyball

Hello Familia! It is that time of the year again to bring your A-game and see who the new volleyball champion is among our student and professional chapters - SHPE Houston Annual Volleyball ESE Cup! Will our 2021 ESE Cup Champs: TAMU - "HTOWN" be de-throned???
Event is to take place on Saturday, June 25th, 2022 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at a new venue once more - Bumpy Pickle!. It is open to everyone - students, professionals, significant others, friends, pets, volleyball lovers, etc!
