The Digital Trust Label is an initiative by the Swiss Digital Initiative (SDI) to denote the trustworthiness of digital services. In this invite-only webinar in collaboration with SDI, participants will map stakeholders’ responsibilities in different cultural and economic contexts and explore solutions that improve trust in digital technologies and in the actors involved in the ongoing digital transformation. ➠ Learn more

Shanghai lockdown has had a huge impact on the business and operations of Swiss companies operating in the Yangtze River Delta. While many firms suffered, others reached out externally to expand their customer base and internally to HQs. Further, the lockdown triggered an overall sense of unity and solidarity in the workplace and beyond.

 Swissnex  Reconnecting at the Annual Meeting 2022!

The global Swissnex Network assembles in Bern for our 2022 Annual Meeting. Visits toour key stakeholders include SERI, PSI, NCCR Automation, NCCR-MARVEL, Empa, University of Zurich, NCCR Evolving Language, ZHdK, ABB, swisstech, Presence Switzerland, Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA), Switzerland Global Enterprise, digitalswitzerland, Innosuisse, and GESDA. Moreover, Swissnex had the privilege to have exchanges with Federal Councilor Guy Parmelin, State Secretary Martina Hirayama, and Ambassador Jacques Ducrest. We look forward to the next gathering!

 Leading House Asia  2022 Call for Innovation Partnership Grants

The Innovation Partnership Grants support the establishment of cooperation between Switzerland-​based researchers with non-academic innovation agents in East and Southeast Asia. These agents can be corporates, SMEs or start​ups, innovation parks, or similar entities with a focus on applied sciences or technical development. The goal of the innovation partnership grants is to initiate long-term partnerships with mutually beneficial concrete outcomes.  Learn more and apply

 Leading House Asia  2022 Call for Opportunity Grants

The opportunity grants support bottom-up initiatives of researchers from Swiss universities, universities of applied sciences, universities of teacher education, and public research institutes, linked to specific events or incidents in East and Southeast Asia.  Innosuisse China Camp  Journey of ShadeMe
Market Validation Camp Story

ShadeMe joined the Innosuisse China Camp in 2021 and embarked on a journey to explore China’s fast-growing market with tailored support from Swissnex in China. An EPFL spin-off based at EPFL Innovation Park, ShadeMe produces decentralized anti-glare automated blinds for commercial buildings. We guided Yujie Wu, the founder & CEO of ShadeMe, through Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Shenzhen, and connected him with the local networks of industrial experts.  ➠ Watch the video

 Recap  Café des Sciences: Sustainability Strategies for Mountains and Forests

Organized in collaboration with the Consulate General of Switzerland in Chengdu, the 33rd Café des Sciences Lecture with a special focus on the Sustainability Strategies of Mountains and Forests was successfully held at Zhongshuge Bookstore in Chengdu.
