Here's a look at your keynote sessions:
Cheryl Jorgensen, Ph.D.
Presuming and Constructing Competence: THE Key Element of Inclusive Education

Do our assumptions about students’ abilities really affect their learning? You bet! Jorgensen will discuss the importance of presuming students’ abilities to learn, communicate, and develop reciprocal social relationships. But beyond just the presumption of competence, she will illustrate how we can make our assumptions visible through our actions to construct students’ demonstrations of competence.
Jordyn Zimmerman
This is Not About Me

Jordyn, an avid advocate for all students, is passionate and determined to make a difference in the world of education, making sure every student is able to access effective communication and exercise their right to a truly inclusive education.
