Rug up! Winter series of Future Orchards® walks starts next week! |
|
Join us as Future Orchards® Walks make their in-orchard return, kicking off in Stanthorpe on Monday 13 June.
Hosted across eight orchards around Australia, growers will join international pome fruit experts Willie Kotze – Dutoit Agri, Peter Allderman –TopFruit and Dr Nigel Cook – Phrophyta, APAL Technical Manager, Rose Daniel, and AgFirst advisors, Craig Hornblow and Ross Wilson, to recap on the season just past and discuss geo-specific strategies for achieving crop production targets and orchard goals.
And for the first time, we're hosting a special pear-focused walk in the Goulburn Valley to look in-depth at pruning, nutrition, packouts and the profitability of producing first-class pears.
