Here’s another great way to save money. Your local Rite Aid drugstores can save you both time and money when you combine their new loyalty card discounts, coupons, special programs and the “deals” of the week. They honestly can’t be beaten.

Rite Aid Rewards is a newer points-and-rewards-based loyalty program that allows all customers to earn points on eligible Rite Aid purchases made in store locations, online, and through their mobile app. Plus customers can earn points for pharmacy pickups, vaccinations, and more. Convert the points into BonusCash to be used as a discount at checkout on future purchases. There is no cost to enroll in the program.

Earn points that convert to BonusCash for as little as 1,000 points and get these exclusive member deals and promotions:

  • Members-only instant BonusCash promotions and pricing
  • New personalized offers and fun challenges around the brands you love, based on what you purchase
And for those age 65 and up, get the Rite Aid Rewards 65+ program (formerly wellness65+). It has been refreshed, with 5X points on first Wednesday of every month, in addition to earning points every other day of the year. Members only get digital coupons (formerly referred to as Load2Card), redeemable in-store and online.

When you shop and when you pick up prescriptions, get 10 points per $1 spent on qualifying products across the store and 250 - 750 points per qualifying prescription pick up where available by state regulation (does not apply to COVID-19 vaccines, other exclusions may apply).

Then convert your points into BonusCash for redemption (1,000 points =$2 Bonus Cash, 2,000 points = $4 Bonus Cash and 3,000 points = $6 Bonus Cash).

Here are some of the other specifics of their brand new Rite Aid Rewards for age 65+ Benefits (Rite Aid Rewards which replaces wellness+ Rewards):

Get free pharmacist consultation and so much more. The consultation will include a review of: Medications, Immunization Needs, Free Pharmacy Services, Free Blood Pressure Screening, and answer any Medicare Part D Questions.

The first Wednesday of every month is dedicated to senior events and savings including: Special monthly activities with a different health topic each month and featured products and information just for seniors.

Ways to Save Money on Your Summer Energy Costs
It’s not quite summer yet, but that gives you the great opportunity to get ready and make sure that summer energy costs don’t bust your wallet. With oil and gas zooming to record cost levels, you can bet the home use of electricity and energy will be more expensive this summer than ever before. It’s time to get back to basics here at Super Saving Tips and talk about how you can save your money on your summer energy usage!

Where Do You Begin? Fans?

Summer means warmer temperatures and although it’s welcomed, it also means that you’ll be turning on fans and air conditioners to try to keep cool. That should prompt you to take a good look at those items and make sure they are all working properly and performing at their max. In the case of fans, are they sized right for the rooms they are in?

Room fans use fast moving air to increase the rate at which our bodies

Celebrating Super Saving Tips' Blogiversary #8 - Can You Believe It?
I know I don’t look it, but I’m now eight years old! That’s not really true, is it? My decorations here at Super Saving Tips don’t fit right in with hippest of the hip blogs and I don’t have a “craft beer” podcast or a YouTube channel interviewing celebrities, but I’m pretty proud to be hobbling along writing every week for you and for me, too. I really do love it and I’m happy to be celebrating another blogiversary!

While I can say that I have a pretty loyal fan base and am so grateful to all of you for that, this year had a few surprise happenings. TV became a thing for Super Saving Tips and it wasn’t an idea that I ever really had thought about. Here’s what happened.

TV Stardom?

Back in May of 2021, after I had been writing for months about the rise in inflation and particularly on the huge increase in food prices, I was contacted by a Houston, Texas network TV station (ABC) about
