EQUITY IN DOCTORAL EDUCATION THROUGH PARTNERSHIP & INNOVATION (EDEPI PROJECT)
Dear Colleague,
Please find attached for your information an advertisement detailing the Equity in Doctoral Education Project which is being delivered by Liverpool John Moores University in partnership with others across the UK. We would be grateful if you would take time to read the advertisement and share it with colleagues in your workplace, through your networks and through your communities of practice.
In the UK, talented individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds continue to be underrepresented in doctoral education. As a result, crucial voices aren't heard, and the research sector misses out on tapping into a very rich talent pool.
The EDEPI (Equity in Doctoral Education through Partnership and Innovation) project aims to change this, by partnering with the NHS to provide support, funding and ring-fenced time to enable talented individuals to explore the PhD opportunities available at Nottingham Trent, Sheffield Hallam and Liverpool John Moores Universities.
If you or any of your colleagues are interested in the EDEPI Project at LJMU, please directly contactDr Julie-Ann Hayes via email by clicking here. Enquiries from any discipline will be welcomed.
