Teacher Cadet and Legacy grad earns scholarship to become teacher

Tristian is the first Five Star student to earn entry into Teacher Recruitment Education and Preparation (TREP). “I want to be a teacher because I can't see myself doing anything else,” she said.

Applications now open for Five Star Leadership Academy


Ever wonder how a public school district works and how to get involved? Where does the money come from? How does the district keep kids safe? How can I contribute to the success of schools?

Parents and community members are encouraged to learn all this and more in the Five Star Leadership Academy. The free, one-year program begins each September. Meetings are held once a month on Fridays from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
