Dear Friend,
At the top of the year, the Board of Directors and I set out to make a BIG impact at Catholic Community Service with a goal of serving 2,500 seniors, families, and children by the end of the fiscal year 2022.
Because of you - Catholic Community Service is well on our way to exceeding these goals.
In just the last year - with your help, we’ve been able to:
- Connected 158 SAFE Child Advocacy Center clients to essential services aimed at cultivating their well-being.
- Served hot, nutritious home-delivered or congregate meals to 1,262 seniors across Southeast.
- Provided 217 individuals in Juneau with hospice or home care services.
I wish you could be in my phone because I receive text messages and emails like the one below from the public in gratitude:
“When a close friend of mine was starting to have memory issues, I contacted Catholic Community Service. They helped set up Meals On Wheels for her and had someone sit and visit with her occasionally or take her out for a drive. They were also great in helping with other senior benefits. I had no idea about the programs for seniors, and Catholic Community Service was very knowledgeable.”

You’ve helped us stay on track to meet our impact goal for 2022 early - and because of that - we’ve decided to aim higher.
Starting Wednesday, June 1, we will be launching our Compassion In Action campaign. The goal is to raise $20,000 to be able to continue: hospice and home care services, comprehensive multidisciplinary team responses to allegations of child abuse, and promote the health, independence, and quality of life of seniors.
Your participation in this campaign is welcomed and appreciated, especially when you join our “Compassion Crew” community. This group of allies is going the extra mile to reach out to their personal networks to ask for support for the seniors, families, and children we serve.
