  • 2nd Grade: Frog and Toad Are Friends by Arnold Lobel
  • 3rd Grade: The Mouse and the Motorcycle by Beverly Cleary
  • 4th Grade: The Chocolate Touch by Patrick Skene Catling

  • 6th Grade: Hatchet by Gary Paulsen
  • 7th Grade: The Wednesday Wars by Gary D. Schmidt
  • 8th Grade: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
We have a limited supply of the 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 6th grade books available in the school office. They are $5 each and are available through Friday, June 17th. You can call us at 714-973-2056 or stop by to purchase!

Your children should've brought home a "Summer Packet" on the last day of school! This contains important and helpful information for the Fall such as summer reading assignment, uniform guidelines, school supply lists, etc. Below are links to digital versions of these packets. Questions? Email Mrs. Boyce.

A New Well in South Sudan!

After reading "A Long Walk to Water", our 5th graders were inspired to raise money for clean water in South Sudan. Together they raised $5,800 which allowed us to partner with 2 other organizations to build a NEW WELL! The pictures above show the new well with fresh, clean water that is now available for the village in South Sudan.

Looking for Host Families!
For many years CCS has enjoyed hosting short-term international students throughout the school year. The students attend classes and want to experience life in a traditional, American family as they work on their English language skills. Host families receive a stipend to help cover costs. Monthly stipends start at $2,500.
We have students coming this fall who are looking for a homestay! If you are interested in hosting students, please contact Mrs. Boyce for more details.
