Fresh. Local. TOGETHER.

Go Green(s) with Us!
05.26.22
Dear Market Friends and Fans,
We are excited to welcome a new vendor starting at the market this week! Bowery Farming grows positively tasty, fresh produce in a cleaner, more sustainable way: in local, indoor smart farms. Every Bowery leaf is grown and handled with care, without pesticides. Bowery’s smart farms use less water and create less waste on less land. Because Bowery’s farms are local, you can trust that your produce is freshly harvested, picked at peak freshness 365 days a year, and available within a few days of harvest. May 26th marks the opening of Bowery Farming's newest growing facility, right here in south Bethlehem, making them a truly local grower! Be sure to stop by their stand, located opposite the Mail Center and welcome them to Bethlehem and the farmers market. Watch for other new vendors joining us in the weeks to come and for the return of some familiar faces from past seasons. Staffing issues and other concerns have kept some from attending, but every one of the folks who comes to our market is eager to be there and looking forward to bringing you the finest, freshest items they have to offer.

We hope you'll continue to help safeguard the environment and support sustainability by choosing a reusable bag for your market purchases. Our generous sponsor Astound Broadband has stocked the "bag swap bin" at our market table for anyone who needs a shopping bag*.

"Rock" cellist Brian Kidd will be performing from 11:15a-1:15p, so grab lunch and give a listen as you enjoy another beautiful day at the market.

If you have ideas to share or comments or questions about the Bethlehem Farmers' Market, feel free to drop us a line.

*single-use plastic bags will not be offered at the farmers' market
