Join us on Saturday May 28th for the 15th Annual Hurricane Party Music Festival in beautiful Historic Downtown Sanford, Florida!
Sanford's oldest and largest music festival since 2006, West End's Annual Hurricane Party keeps growing every year. With 7 stages and 50+ bands in the venues and streets of Historic Downtown Sanford, live art, vendors and food trucks, the Hurricane Party is our way of paying homage to Mother Nature for a tranquil hurricane season.

Friday, May 27th: Family Sunset at the Zoo
As the sun sets later this summer, celebrate with some after-hours fun at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens! Family Sunset at the Zoo means extra fun from 5 p.m. to sunset, May through September. Take a cooler stroll around the boardwalks or play in the splash pad. And don’t miss our awesome 4 for $40 pack! Saturday, May 28th: Cars & Brunch – May 29th – FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2022
The Inaugural Cars & Brunch Monaco Edition will be held Sunday May 29th from 8:30 AM – 12 Noon! Display your car as we close down Myrtle Ave from 1st to 3rd Street with Tuffy’s Bottle Shop.
Enjoy the 2022 Monaco Grand Prix, which takes place over 78 laps of the 3.337-kilometre Circuit de Monaco in Monte Carlo on Sunday, May 29.
Enjoy cool cars, the Monaco F1 Race on the big screens and an amazing gala carte Brunch from Swine and Sons (for purchase)!
Just $5 per car to show. Limited to 100 spots!

Sunday May 29th: Sanford Golf Cart Gurus 2nd Amazing Race
Please come together as a community and join us for a day of fun-filled games, challenges, tasks, puzzles and obstacles!
What is the Amazing Race? Teams (2 or 4 people). Only 2 people on the team will participate in each competition.
Go around the world “Sanford” to complete in unusual challenges, tasks, puzzles and obstacles at 13 of our favorite businesses.
There will be NO food or alcohol challenges.
Trophy and prizes for 1st place, best challenge, cart costume contest & more!

The City of Sanford Invites All to the Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony
at 10 AM in Veterans Memorial Park on Monday, May 30, 2022.
The City of Sanford, along with the American Legion, Post #53, will jointly host the Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony at 10 AM in Veterans Memorial Park on Monday, May 30, 2022. The City of Sanford invites all to join us at the Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony to honor and preserve the legacy of the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and members of the Coast Guard, the heroic guardians of our freedom, who gave their lives in service to this Country. While Memorial Day is a solemn day of remembrance, it is also a day to show appreciation to the family members of our fallen heroes, our Gold Star Families, and ensure that future generations learn of their service and sacrifice to the Country.

A 3 Course dinner and immersive murder mystery show! You live the story, investigate the crime, question the suspects and SOLVE THE CRIME!

June 22nd: Hollerbach's Radler Day Bike Ride - Featuring Stiegl Radler
Wednesday June 22nd, 2022 is Radler Day! "Radler" means "Cyclist" in German and is also a delicious German bier/soda mix. We are celebrating by combining the two in Historic Downtown Sanford.

Join this celebration by riding your bike on one of two rides :
• For all the roadies, join 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 as they host their Special Wrong Way Wednesday in Historic Downtown Sanford. The start time is 6:00 PM from Bicikleta Bike Shop for a 24-mile loop around Lake Monroe. The pace for this ride will be 18-20 MPH and 22-23 MPH.
• For a more leisurely ride, join Bicikleta Bike Shop on a 6.6-mile ride around Historic Downtown Sanford. The start time is 6:15 PM from Bicikleta Bike Shop.
After the ride, join us at Hollerbach's German Restaurant to celebrate Radler Day!
There will be giveaways sponsored by Stiegl Beer and Bicikleta Bike Shop, and whoever completes one of the two rides, gets a Stiegl Radler draft beer at Hollerbach's!

June 25th: A live Salsa Explosion Vol.2
Get ready Sanford and surrounding cities, we're doing this AGAIN!
Grab your dancing shoes and come out and enjoy a free evening of live salsa , merengue and bachata. We have a great band playing all night long, amazing drinks and awesome food.

New Date! June 26th: 1st Annual Karts & Kegs
First Annual Sanford Karts & Kegs is set to debut June 26th, 2022! From the creator of Sofas & Suds, this event will combine many of our towns loves: Beer, Golf Carts, and racing things while people look silly! What the hell is this? Karts & Kegs is a timed Golf Cart racing competition and skills challenge taking place in Sanford, FL on Sunday, May 15th, 2022, 2-6pm. It will be local businesses pitting their racing team of 4 against others to determine who is really the best at driving golf carts and doing physical challenges . . . or who is the worst but yet the crowd favorite.
