The congregation will have been saddened to hear of the passing of Rita Hollebon on Thursday 19 May. Rita and Cliff have been coming to All Saints for the past 17 years and have been involved in various areas of church life and ministry in that time. Rita had a strong faith in Christ, a love for his people and a love of music. Rita used her musical abilities in playing the piano for various services and events here and she and Cliff served in Tiger Arts, both the midweek concerts and lunches and weekend concerts, alongside Peter Ford and his team. They served as welcomers with Rita’s warmth and smile as a real asset and were on the team cooking and hosting Friday lunches. We rejoice that Rita is now with her Lord, but we will miss Rita and we want to be praying for Cliff and their sons David and Graham and wives Penny and Karen and granddaughters Sarah and Ruth in their loss.
A service of Thanksgiving for Rita will be held here at All Saints on Monday 13 June at 1.30pm, any church family are most welcome to attend.
Barbara Phillips
Some of the long-standing members of the church family will remember Barbara Phillips, a member of All Saints, who has spent the last 15 or so years as a resident of Compton House, where she had volunteered previously. Barbara passed away on Sunday 22 May. Barbara had a strong Christian faith, having been converted here at All Saints in the 70s. We rejoice she is now with her Lord and reunited with her husband Ralph and their daughter. We remember Barbara’s other daughter Wendy in her loss and pray for her family and three daughters at this sad time. A funeral will be held at All Saints, details to be advised.
Youth groups half-term
Next week is half term so there will be no midweek youth clubs or Pathfinders on Sunday mornings (29 May and 5 June) as they are all-age services.

Tiger@Ten is growing
We’re so grateful to God that so many folks love being part of Tiger@Ten that meets on alternate Tuesday mornings. Now we need to grow the team too!
Regular drivers, office support, befrienders, and prayers – all sorts of different opportunities to serve! Safeguarding training will be required.

Ministry trainees
This September we'd love to welcome two ministry trainees to come and learn with us. If you know someone who might be interested in this training opportunity please do share our advert with them. https://ninethirtyeight.org/job/asl_mt/
Live Stream Plans
Since the start of Covid lockdowns it's been great to offer one or two live-streamed services each week. This term the demand for live streamed services has significantly decreased, with many now able to attend church services in-person again. It's also been increasingly difficult to resource this service as many of our helpers are no longer able to help. Starting in June, we will move to just broadcasting one service on a Sunday, initially the 11.15am, and then following the 6pm series in the book of Jonah. Our last regular live streamed service will be on Sunday 17th July, at which point we will pause for the summer holidays and assess both the demand for services in the Autumn and the volunteer support to help acheive this. If you have any questions please get in touch with Hugh Bourne - hugh.bourne@lindfield.info

Please help Five Talents raise £30,000
Last year many of you helped Five Talents raise £11,000 by recording the distances you walked, cycled, swam or covered during golf rounds (as long as you walked, not used a buggy) over a week. Five Talents are repeating the exercise but, this time, for the month of June. There is no cost to you nor any sponsorship requirement from you except your time and exercising as there are sponsors willing to contribute £1 for every mile covered, but you do need to sign up. To sign up and read about the event click: https://www.fivetalents.org.uk/tour-de-talents-2022#sign-up and, thereby, give a hand up to the marginalised in East Africa wanting to start their own business to provide for their family and to educate their children.
