In honour of World Environment Day on June 5, UTM will hold a rain or shine Campus Clean-Up on Thursday, June 2. Open to all students, staff and faculty, it is a great way to show appreciation for the University’s beautiful campus.
There are two half-hour clean-up times -- 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.-- with each followed by a free 30 minute outdoor lunch.

Note: The LDD Moth Control Program includes UTM’s Campus and involve the release of pesticides via helicopter. If spraying occurs within a couple of days of June 2, clean upwill be rescheduled.
Classes of the '80s Reunion at The Blind Duck Pub & Patio
On May 28, UTM Alumni Relations and the 1980s Alumni Reunion Planning Committee will host grads of the '80s on campus at the Blind Duck Pub for a fun and casual pub night. Learn more
Municipal LDD moth control program includes UTM campus
The City of Mississauga’s 2022 Lymantria dispar dispar (LDD) moth control program will target a portion of the U of T Mississauga campus this spring. Between mid-May to mid-June, depending on weather conditions, the emergence of the LDD caterpillars and leaf development, helicopters will fly at low altitude and release a pesticide over 2,091 hectares of the city, including 41 hectares of the campus.
