Please plan to attend the May 22 semi-annual congregational meeting:

Resurrection Lutheran will have its May congregational meeting at 9:30am on May 22. Please read the following information carefully to be prepared for the meeting.

There will be an online attendance option. To participate online, you will need to have a device that will allow you to log into Zoom with your camera turned on. The link for the Zoom meeting is  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84172373910?pwd=Lv9O8vknpuwDbTuCPwT20aHHc7cnYX.1 .

Whether you are attending in person or online, please arrive at RLC or on Zoom promptly so that Council can ascertain a quorum. As a reminder, the RLC constitution defines voting members as those who are confirmed, and who have communed and made a contribution of record in support of RLC in the current or preceding calendar year. If you have any question about your membership, please contact Pastor Beth.

The meeting materials, including agenda, reports, and nominees for elected positions, are attached to this email. There will be paper copies available at the meeting at RLC. Please take time to read through the reports and nominations in advance of the meeting to make the most of our time together. Congregational input is vital as we move forward together.

Sunday Morning Volunteer Opportunities:
Are you friendly and welcoming? You could be a greeter, saying hello to worshipers as they come in before worship.

Are you good with technology? You could join the stream team and help with the sound board or livestream during worship.

Are you comfortable speaking in front of people? You could be a reader– Pastor Beth will even help you pronounce the unfamiliar names.

Are you good at giving directions? You could be an usher and help visitors find a seat and let worshipers know when to receive communion.

Do you love little children? You could volunteer to supervise the nursery.

Do you like to set up and clean up behind the scenes? You could be part of the Altar Guild, our team that prepares and cleans up communion and changes the altar paraments.

Do you love offering hospitality? You could sign up to prepare and serve coffee and treats for fellowship time.

Do you want to help as a worship leader? You could be a communion assistant, distributing juice and wine to worshipers.

Reply to this email if you'd like to sign up or learn more-- and if you're not sure, we'll help you learn how to usher, serve communion, make coffee, or whatever you'd like to try.
