When the calendar turns to city playoffs for Lane Girls Soccer, everything seems to fall in place. For the seventh consecutive season, Lane hoisted the city championship plaque, downing Whitney Young Dolphins 2-1 in the city final game. The win came after a 3-0 loss to the Dolphins during the regular season. Editor-in-Chief Mara Mellits and Assistant Editor Ruby Thompson have a game story and photo gallery.

In a game decided by mere seconds, Lane Girls Lacrosse saw their six-year city title streak come to a close on Friday evening.
