IMPORTANT: Permanent Parklet Plan
How to have your voice heard in the City's new program
Business owners and community members are invited to provide input on the City of San Luis Obispo’s draft Outdoor Dining Guide, a manual that outlines the goals, operating policies, design standards, and permitting process for outdoor dining installations like parklets.
|
|
- Review the Outdoor Dining Guide draft and watch the latest Business Education Series session.
- Leave a comment on the Open City Hall forum.
Through May 29, 2022, community members can read what others are saying about the guide, then post their own statement. City officials will read the statements and incorporate them into the decision-making process.
- Attend the public workshop at the SLO County Library on May 26, 2022, at 5:30 PM.
City staff will hold a public workshop on the permanent parklet program including the proposed changes and how current parklet operators can apply for the new permit.
- Attend the City Council meetings
Following public input on the draft Outdoor Dining Guide, staff will review public feedback for consideration into an ordinance by the City Council on Thursday, July 5, 2022 and Thursday, July 19, 2022.
