After a wonderful six weeks of gathering insightful questions about agroforestry and mixed farming, TODAY at 17:00 CEST we will hold our open and free access Q&A session with experts from the European Agroforestry Association (EURAF)'s 6th Agroforestry Conference - don't miss out! The event will be live-streamed, with no need for registration, via EURAF's Facebook page.
- Can we produce enough food for a growing global population using regenerative farming methods?
- Can farmers maintain or increase yields by transitioning from conventional practices to agroforestry?
- What is the science behind the environmental benefits of regenerative farming?
- Does one usually work with indigenous plants in agroforestry?
- What are the policy and economic obstacles to upscaling these practices, and how do we overcome them?
We have gathered over 30 questions ranging from evidence for how agroforestry will contribute to the future of our food system, to detailed questions for how farmers and agronomists can apply specific techniques to increase soil health.
The questions will be answered by five expert scientists and practitioners, and hosted by the Regenerative Agroforestry Podcast.
