2. Community-Driven Evaluation and Capacity Building

3. Evaluation Capacity Network: Evaluation in the Community Context
May 30 - June 3, 2022


Registration is now open for an experiential learning course offered by the Evaluation Capacity Network for undergraduate/graduate students and community stakeholders to sustainably build evaluation capacity. This course will integrate blended learning principles, with lectures and activities in the morning, and facilitated group case study work in the afternoons. This online course will be offered this spring from May 30–June 3 and will provide learners with an introduction to the foundations, approaches, strategies, and ethical considerations of evaluation, with an application across diverse disciplines (e.g., health care, community development, government, not-for-profit).

5. Annual NICE Knowledge Exchange 2022

Since 2006, the Annual National Initiative for the Care of the Elderly (NICE) Knowledge Exchange has provided opportunities for the aging/gerontology/geriatrics community to network, exchange new ideas, introduce insights and innovations, and transfer knowledge and best practices with the goal of improving the care of older adults. The theme for 2022’s online edition is A New Era of Aging: Opportunities for Action.

6. Maritime Health Research Summit: Wise Practices in Health Equity

10. Advancing Data Sharing for IS in Cancer Control: A Workshop to Facilitate Collaboration and Exchange
May 31, June 7, and June 13, 2022 


This workshop will be to bring together implementation scientists and other complementary experts in data science, ethics, data privacy, and security to provide input on a process, scope, and trajectory for data sharing in implementation science and cancer prevention and control. 13. Mental Health in the Early Years Implementation Science Team Grants

This opportunity is to fund implementation science research that enhances our understanding of how to improve the systematic and equitable implementation of evidence-based interventions for young children and their caregivers that address one or more of the following areas: Promotion of positive socio-emotional development and mental health in early childhood. Prevention of the development of early childhood mental health issues. Treatment of young children living with or at risk of developing mental health issues through integrated, coordinated, and person-oriented care.
