Upcoming Exhibitions
July 8th- September 24th

Tip of the Tongue: Anne Feller

This exhibition is an examination of what we remember, how we remember, and why we remember what we remember. Each piece is a recreation of an intimate yet fleeting moment in time often capturing figures in simple everyday actions. The act of remembering and the involuntary manifestation of forgetting appear side by side in my work. Each piece thus balances both the desire to preserve the memory in its entirety while simultaneously revealing the unreliability of the memory itself.

Please join us on July 8th from 6-9pm for the opening of Tip of the Tongue with Night on the Town. Free entry to the public with drinks and libations provided.

Wrong Side of the Tracks: An Exhibition in Metal

Opening July 8th- 6-9pm

The American railroad denotes adventure, exploration, and manifest destiny, but also nostalgia, dominance, and separation. The latter half of the 19th Century saw the first transcontinental railroad cut across Nebraska, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, and California, slicing through indigenous lands, and displacing communities who had considered this region sacred ground for thousands of years. Almost a century later trains were a main mode of transportation for the rich and the poor alike exemplifying social class hierarchies. Shanty towns popped up along the tracks during the height of the great depression, and these same tracks cut through neighborhoods, drawing a line in iron between the haves and the have nots. Does the railroad symbolize progress or oppression? What does it mean to be from the “wrong side of the tracks” both literally and figuratively?

We will be opening Wrong Side of the Tracks and Tip of the Tongue on July 8th from 6-9pm. Free entry for the public with drinks and libations provided.
