ALICE Collaborative Booth exhibition seeking partners for TRA 2022
|
|
|
ALICE is one of the key organizers of the Transport Research Arena 2022. TRA is the largest European research and technology conference on transport and mobility. On 11-13th of May we were in Lisbon to participate actively to activities of the committee, discussing forthcoming steps, and tour the venue.
This year's edition will take place from the 14th to 17th of November. Being reached the third participation to the fair, ALICE is seeking new projects to come on board and be part(ners) of our joint booth.

More and more cities and their inhabitants are embracing the redistribution of road space as a way to create more liveable environments.

Registration Open for the European Logistics Innovation Day: first in-person event of BOOSTLOG organized by ALICE – 5th of July

ALICE will host the European logistics innovation day sooner! Registrations are now open
The event is for all stakeholders interested in logistics, particularly those who work on sustainability and innovation.
During the day, the BOOSTLOG consortium will present their funding and engage with logistics stakeholders to have their say on next steps. The BOOSTLOG project is a 3 year project funded by the EU through HORIZON 2020, launched in January 2021.
The public event is free of charge and everyone is welcome

ALICE TG3 launch of 5G Interest Group, June 20th

On Monday, June 20 at 11.00 (CEST) we’re hosting a webinar to discuss of 5G technology. Have you registered yet?
The objective of the focus group is the identification of projects which today, already, employs the 5G technology in transport and logistics, and how they align with the ALICE PI roadmap.
The webinar will have an interactive session to get useful feedbacks from the audience regarding their experience with 5G's technology, and what they consider will be priorities of the latter.

Last Wednesday, ALICE teamed up with EMEurope and POLIS Network for the first of a series of online initiatives supporting the transition towards zero-emission road freight transport and logistics in European regions and countries.

ALICE Inland Waterways Transport activity field launch meeting
|
|
|
On May ALICE Thematic Group 2 (Corridors, Hubs and Synchromodality) launched inland waterways transport activity to gather ALICE members and interested parties to further develop opportunities for freight and logistics decarbonization brought forward by IWT.
Tomas Ambra and Zisis Palaskas Chairs and vice-chairs at ALICE led the event whilst Nik Delmeire, Sergio Barbarino and Hans Schurmans kicked off the event sharing their own precious experiences.

On May 19th, ALICE had the pleasure to host Han Van Steenwinkel, Project Leader and Thomas Van Asch, Strategic Projects Manager from Air Cargo Belgium. Together, they throw some light on how ACB stimulates innovation to attract new cargo flows in Belgium and dig into ACB’s Physical Internet roadmap.

Horizontal Collaboration by Collaborative Platforms workshop
|
|

The workshop of May, was a first important attempt to analyse and categorize platforms that deal with full truck loads by providing more precise definitions and what use-cases correlate with the various classifications of platforms, and investigating if/how they could and should interact to support supply chain collaboration nowadays.
