As the world returns to some form of ‘normal’ it’s time to get back into your healthy routines & habits… and don’t worry, we know it can be hard - but that’s what we’re here for :)
if you’ve been struggling to get your routine back - here’s a few tips from the team;
Sit down on Sunday and schedule / reserve your first 2-3 (or 1-2) workouts for the week! The beauty of group classes is all you’ve got to do is schedule the time to show up - we’ll make sure everything else happens :)
Take it easy, and be easy on yourself! No matter if you worked out hardcore through all of COVID or not, your body and mind have been through a lot over the past few years, take it easy on yourself and celebrate showing up - worry about the scores & PRs later (don’t worry, they’ll come).
Start with some Strength & Conditioning classes! If you’re just getting back into long days at the office, sometimes high skill movements can be just a little more than you’re mentally ready for, if you’ve got an [FF] membership, it includes all our [SC] classes! The SC workouts are written to follow along with the [FF] program specifically to allow athletes to jump back and forth as they need :)

As a monthly FF member you get all kinds of discounts on PTs OR on your monthly membership - contact your favorite coach (or info@raincityathletics.ca) and come in for a little 1 on 1 attention to get you feeling good before you jump back into group classes :)

A few other friendly reminders…
Please make sure to show up on time (or 5 minutes early) - missing any part of your warmup can be dangerous, especially if you’re just coming back! Coaches have the right to stop you from attending the class if you’re more than 5 minutes late, and you’ll owe 5 burpees for every minute late you are!
SPRT and ACCESS athletes can now check yourselves in again via the app - ZP disabled it for some reason (not us) but it’s back on now - you’re not crazy ;)
