Dear Friend,
This is it! The LAST Learning Challenge newsletter of the 2021/22 school year!
If you haven't had a chance to fill out the year end survey yet, you still have a couple weeks to complete it. But why not do it now? It only takes a few minutes, and you could win one of our amazing prizes! All Challenge participants who fill out the short feedback form can enter, and we really appreciate any thoughts, stories or reflections you'd like to share. We want to hear how your year went after a commitment to head outside each week - even if it didn't always go to plan!
We'll send out one more reminder before the form closes on Sunday June 19th. Winners will be announced the week of June 20th - make sure info@takemeoutside.ca is in your contacts so we don't accidentally end up in your Spam folder trying to reach you!
Once more, a huge heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you for participating throughout the year, during each season and challenge that was thrown your way. Your dedication to outdoor learning makes a real difference and every step you take outside is headed in the right direction. We're lucky to work with such a passionate community. If you'd like to share any photos from the Challenge or chat further about writing a longer story or blog post on a topic you're particularly excited about, please email us - we'd love to feature your voice and community.
To join in next year, start by signing up through our "Save The Date" form and you'll be the first to know when Take Me Outside Day registration launches! It will be another fun-filled and impactful week of activities, speakers, and events.
Stay in touch, and have a great summer filled with outdoor adventures!
- Your Take Me Outside Team

Indigenous Resources for Educators and Learners
In this workshop, Jenna Jasek, Indigenous Advisor to The Outdoor Learning Store, will share her perspectives on some of her favourite Indigenous learning resources. Jenna is also the District Vice Principal of Indigenous Learning and Equity for Rocky Mountain School District No. 6. As an Indigenous person she is learning about her culture and loves learning about traditional teachings and knowledge of nature. She strives to provide students opportunities to explore, learn and immerse themselves in the outdoors and outdoor education.

We've had a great time connecting with educators across the country during our monthly virtual campfires. We've got some special plans, guests, and success stories to share and celebrate our last campfire of the year on Thurs June 23rd at 5pm PT/8pm ET.
Join us to learn, share and connect around all things related to outdoor learning! There will be opportunities to hear from educators and chat, discussing key topics on your mind through an open mic format. And of course some great prizes too!
