Hey everyone,

Inquiring minds want to know: How long does it take to get from Durant, Oklahoma to Karnei Shomron, Israel?

Well, I'm glad you asked... Here's the breakdown:

  1. Leave Choctaw Casino at 1pm on Tuesday
  2. Fly out of Dallas, Texas at 6pm on Tuesday
  3. Arrive at London Heathrow at 11am Wednesday
  4. LONG layover (thank you, Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse!)
  5. Touch down in Tel Aviv at 4:45am Thursday.
  6. Greet your children as they wake up in Karnei Shomron at about 6:30am Thursday.

I'm currently in the midst of #4, and hopefully the rest of this journey will go smoothly. 😃

This return trek home has given me ample time to reflect on the wonderful week that was, covering the 2022 WPT Choctaw series. Alongside some direct tournament coverage on social media, I produced a quartet of feature articles that pretty exhaustively captured and summed up my experiences. In case you've missed any of them, you can find them below.

Of course, I managed to squeeze in a couple great poker sessions during the trip as well, and I'm glad to report both were profitable, with the latter one actually being my most profitable single session win ever! #winning 📈

Now, it's time for me to recharge at home with my family for about 2.5 weeks, until the next adventure.

Vegas Calling

The next trip on the itinerary will be the annual pilgrimage to the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. I arrive there the night of June 6 and will be around until the morning of June 17.

You'll most likely find me milling around Bally's/Paris during the first half of that trip, with a "stop on the poker lecture circuit" (see Important Dates, below), and I'll be ensconced at Resorts World hosting our Cardplayer Lifestyle Mixed Game Festival II during the second half.

Speaking of the Mixed Game Festival, I'll be talking about it during forthcoming appearances on a couple podcasts, which I recorded with Bernard Lee and Chris Wallace while in Oklahoma. During those shows I've got some reveals re: the grand prize and some other prizes, sponsored by PokerStars, as well as details re: the five book signings we've got scheduled throughout the festival, so keep your ears peeled for those.

If you're planning on attending our upcoming Mixed Game Festival, please spread the word on social media by sharing the event announcement. If you've got any questions about it, or would like to do a write-up for your website or interview for your podcast, I'm more than happy to answer the call.

With best wishes to you as always for #rungood, both at and away from the tables,

Robbie
