Revised Sailing Dates etc. for 2022
For those who attended we had a great trip to Piel and Barrow at Easter.
We are planning a trip to Douglas to watch part of the TT races setting off on the 2nd of June HW 13.42 with plans to circumnavigate the Island returning possibly on the 11th of June HW 08.59
Work Party 11th of June HW 08.59. Please try to attend.
The 25th of June is the clubs 60th Anniversary
A Trip to Castle Town probably setting off on Saturday 9th of July HW 07.11 to watch part of the Southern 100 with plans possibly to sail across to Ireland.
Saturday 30th of July the Viking invasion to Snatchems (The Golden Ball) HW 13.11 8.61m. (All are welcome)
Sunday 31st of July Day Boat Sailing Trip. (All are welcome)
The annual Regatta Saturday 13th of August HW 1300 (9.43m) & Sunday 14th HW 13.43 (9.4m). We will try to get permission to use the Dock on Friday and Saturday night. (Please note this date has changed from my original email)
The Classic TT runs from21st of August to Monday the 29th of August. Possibly set sail on Thursday 18th of August HW 16.21 (8.04m) or Thursday 25th HW 11.44 (8.47m)
If anyone would like to go on a family cruise could they please let me have the dates which they would be able to go?
Any boat wishing to join any of the trips will be more than welcome. Please let me know if you are going on any of the trips. There may be spare places on some of the boats if anyone wishes to come and share the experience and expenses of the trip. The dates are subject to weather conditions.
Please note there is now a freezer in the work shop at the rear of the garage for members to use during the sailing season. If you use the freezer please date and put your name or membership number on any items placed in it.
