The Hoolihan is a resort located next to Spring Creek just east of Mertzon. It features many acres of shaded and grassy areas to get out of the hot summer sun. Mona was born December 6, 1925 to Jack and Lila Davidson in Stonewall County, Texas. Mona graduated high school from Divide High School in Nolan County in 1944. On April 27, 1944 Mona married the love of her life Harold Wayne Ensminger in Sweetwater, Tx.
She lived in San Angelo for 76 years and in the same house for 65 of those years. She was a charter member of Johnson St. Church of Christ.

Ellen Jean Kuykendall of Big Lake, fell asleep in death May 13, 2022 at 81 years of age. Jean, as she liked to be called, spent her life serving Jehovah and speaking to everyone she could about him. She was preceded in death by her husband Verel Kuykendall as well as her parents, Edward and Elvina Lewis and brothers, Nubbin and Marvin. She is survived by her son Tracy, wife Annette and their kids Michael (JoKellie) and Matthew (Katie), her daughter Cassie Kuykendall and son Troy, wife Peggy and their kids Heather (Jamal), Adam (Stacey) and Megan.
