Hello! Our records indicate you had --or have-- a yard sign in support of the East Branch DuPage River Trail. We hope you still have it and are still willing to display it! Yard signs make a big difference and can truly influence, so thank you!

Because you ordered a yard sign, you are receiving this email, which is part of a mailing list. Normally, only one email per month or fewer are delivered to this mailing list.

However, we will be sending more emails than usual between now and June 4, 2022, to encourage folks to RSVP for our June 4 event (see below). We certainly hope you will consider attending!

If you do not wish to be reminded of this event,

DID YOU SEE US (Again!) IN THE DAILY HERALD?

We were blown away on May 9 when the Daily Herald featured us on its front page. Today, we were thrilled again when the Daily Herald editorial board endorsed the Friends of the East Branch DuPage River Trail as a worthy organization and recognized the East Branch DuPage River Trail as a worthy project. They took a look at the project and said, "Yes, this should be done!" Thank you Daily Herald for your support! Click to read the opinion online (for subscribers).
YOUR HELP IS REQUESTED
DuPage County is requesting that area trail users help them by filling out a survey on the County's trail plans. This is a chance to make your voice heard. Particularly on question 12, there is a place to ask for more trails (Especially the EBDRT). Survey takes about 10 minutes to fill out.

What the Heck is EBDRT?
The East Branch DuPage River Trail (EBDRT) is a long-planned, but never fully funded hike/bike trail that runs north/south through the central part of DuPage County. The trail route is not finalized but roughly runs along the East Branch of the DuPage River which is roughly parallel on the west side of IL highway 355. The trail when it is completed is envisioned to connect the Illinois Prairie Path to the Great Western Trail and the Morton Arboretum so those seeking to travel between these three great community amenities can do so without traveling on streets shared by automobiles.

Support the funding and construction of the EBDRT! Thank You for Your Support of the East Branch DuPage River Trail! Together, this community will construct a trail for future generations to use and enjoy.
