May 10 Meeting Recap

About 20 members and guests met at Presbyterian Church-Broomfield. Carol Dillard announced that we will be able to do a sales show at the Anthem Ranch clubhouse on July 9-10 and the Anthem staff has promised full support for our efforts. Carol will work with a committee of volunteers from the Guild to polish up some unresolved issues. Nearly everyone at the meeting signed up to participate in the event. Since the event will be announced in the Anthem residents' newsletter for June, all artist signups must be in to Carol by 6/1. More information will go out in a separate email.

Dave Shelley confirmed that the BCC display will be taken down May 31; a reminder email will be sent to all those members who have displayed there the week before to coordinate.

Barb Wagamon gave an excellent presentation on how she approaches a painting  - through detailed research and investigation into the process of choosing the primary and complementary colors, and some of the effects she uses. Jane Doak also presented her approach to a painting (so we got a two for one!).
Fall Member Show is a Go!
Thank you to our show committee volunteers: Sally Bullers, Carol Dillard, Barb Wagamon, Michelle Skulley! The location is confirmed for College Hill Library in Westminster.

Sally confirms that the show will be judged, although we have not identified any potential candidates as of yet. Stay tuned for additional details.
