I don’t know much about the new White House press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, but if this embarrassing 2019 essay for Newsweek urging Democrats to skip the AIPAC conference, is any indication of her expertise, she’ll be perfect for the job. Though Jean-Pierre doesn’t openly contend that Israel shouldn’t exist, her regurgitation of BDS talking points says just as much. The stilted piece, written when she was with MoveOn, is crammed with tautological gems like: “You cannot call yourself a progressive while continuing to associate yourself with an organization like AIPAC that has often been the antithesis of what it means to be progressive.” Jean-Pierre claims that the American Israel Public Affairs Committee fails to uphold “progressive values” by inviting a prime minister from the only nation in the Middle East where Muslim votes count. The future press secretary notes that Benjamin Netanyahu had been accused of war crimes by the U.N. Human Rights Council, which, then as now, was led by the world’s greatest authoritarians.

Christian author Jen Hatmaker, a mother of five, has voiced her support for Roe v. Wade after a leaked U.S. Supreme Court opinion suggests that the landmark decision that legalized abortion appears set to be overturned. The overturning of the 1973 Supreme Court judgment will cause “immediate, disproportionate harm,” and “not just emotional harm; physical and legal harm,” Hatmaker wrote on her blog… Hatmaker, who made headlines in 2016 for affirming same-sex marriage, claimed that data “unambiguously” proves that “making abortion illegal doesn’t lower abortion rates.”
“It simply makes them more dangerous,” she argued. “And dangerous for whom? 1-in-4 American women have had an abortion, so … dangerous for your daughters, your sisters, your best friends, your colleagues, your neighbors, your church friends, and of course those of you reading with your quiet, private personal history here, as it should be, yourself. It will be disproportionately dangerous for women of color and under-resourced women, as all social ills are.”
“Estranged moms asking their gay children to forgive them. Gay grandmas coming out for the first time. Siblings and aunts and kids of trans people reaching out with apologies and connection. Mamas saying, they can love and affirm their young, closeted gaybies with no reservations now. LGBTQ people who finally believe Jesus loves them,” she added.

Officials from the Biden Administration are working to give the World Health Organization the power to unilaterally declare a health emergency in any country, thereby giving them emergency powers. The message from the administration and the vote are going unreported by the heritage media, but former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann is working hard at sounding the alarm. Bachmann has stated that the upcoming vote in Geneva over the Biden Administration’s amendments would cede U.S. sovereignty to the WHO over national healthcare decisions in what she described as “the biggest global power grab that we have seen in our lifetimes.”
