Millions of people struggle with anxiety...
are you ready to help?

Biblical Help for Anxiety

Anxiety is one of the primary concerns that brings people to counseling.

Millions of people in the U.S. struggle with anxiety. If you aren't one of them, there is zero chance that you don't know someone who is. People with anxiety are in your church. They're in your ministry. They live in your neighborhood. And as Christ-followers, it is our job to be biblically prepared to help.

In the resources below, you'll find a helpful handout with information about anxiety as well as link to our new Video Resources page on the website. Our resource on anxiety is the first up, but others are coming soon. (If you have a suggested topic, please reply to this email and let me know!)

Before we jump into the resources, let me also ask you to VOTE TODAY for iHope and our counselors, nominated for Best of the Pee Dee 2022! You can click here to vote for iHope in our 3 nominations:

  • Person of the Year >> Best Counselor - Vote for Jennifer Almers or Nicholas Lee, both on our team of wonderful counselors at iHope!
  • I hope you'll vote every day until May 26!

Scripture & Prayer Prompts

O God, we praise You that You are in control of all things. You are good, You are loving, and we never need to worry. There is nothing for us to fear, thanks to the gift of life we have in Jesus Christ. We pray today for those who are struggling with anxiety. O God, bring peace. Fill their hearts with reassurance of your faithfulness. Surround them with supportive and caring community. May we and our churches be places of healing and hope, and may we have eyes to see those who need an extra word of encouragement, helping hand, or moment of connection. Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Amen.
