1. Politico: Supreme Court abortion draft still the only one being circulated

(CNA) - The draft opinion leaked to the press that would overturn Roe v. Wade is still the only one being circulated among Supreme Court justices, whose votes in a pivotal abortion case remain unchanged, Politico reported Wednesday. Politico is the same news outlet that first published the draft, written by conservative associate justice Samuel A. Alito Jr., on May 2. In its latest report, Politico said it has learned that "none of the conservative justices who initially sided with Alito have to date switched their votes." MORE

2. After Weeks of Pro-Abortion Violence, Radical Abortion Activists Start “Summer of Rage” Campaign

(LifeNews) - The pro-abortion Women’s March is threatening a “Summer of Rage” across America if the U.S. Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade and allows states to protect unborn babies from abortion again. On Sunday, the group warned that the pro-abortion protests held across the U.S. over the weekend are just the beginning and used words that hint at possible insurrection and violence, according to Townhall. “Our Summer of Rage is officially beginning,” the Women’s March wrote Sunday on Twitter. “We’re prepared to rage for Roe all summer … We won’t rest until abortion rights are protected.” MORE

3. So-called “Women’s Health Protection Act” defeated again in the Senate

(NRLC) - Late on Wednesday May 11, all Senate Republicans, joined by one Democrat, Senator Joe Manchin, defeated a motion to invoke cloture (end debate) on the motion to proceed to H.R. 4132, the Women’s Health Protection Act better described as the Abortion on Demand Until Birth Act. The vote was 49-51. This extremist legislation, which needed 60 votes to advance, failed to even garner a majority of U.S. Senators. Nearly identical legislation was voted down by the Senate in March. It would invalidate even laws upheld by the Supreme Court in the time since Roe. MORE

4. Starbucks, Amazon, Apple, and Microsoft to Pay for Employees’ Travel Expenses for Abortions

(DC) - The next time you consider pulling up to the Starbucks’ drive through line, ready to place your order for a tall black coffee or grande caffe latte, you may want to pause and give it a second thought. That’s because the world’s largest coffeehouse chain announced on Monday that it will begin covering travel expenses for employees seeking abortions or so-called sex change procedures. In a memo sent to employees on Monday, the corporation said it will reimburse U.S. employees for travel expenses if they travel more than 100 miles to abort their preborn baby. MORE

5. When People Learn, They Change: ‘Pro-choice’ people see abortion, call it ‘torture’ and ‘cruel’

(LiveAction) - For many years, those with a pro-abortion agenda have been successful at downplaying the truth about abortion. From referring to a preborn child as nothing more than a clump of cells, to calling abortion “health care,” to championing a “woman’s right,” the pro-abortion messaging has successfully swayed millions of people into loudly proclaiming that they are “pro-choice.” However, people’s minds often change when they are confronted with the truth: abortion is a violent procedure, in which the preborn child is either starved to death, ripped apart limb from limb, or lethally injected with a drug to cause cardiac arrest. The Role of a Husband

(Messy Family Project) - “There is a famine abroad on the earth, a famine of more serious kind and one which threatens nearly every country in the world: the famine of really great men. The world’s greatest need is great men.” Ven. Fulton Sheen

You’ve likely heard that men should be the leaders of the home and they should love their wives as Christ loves the Church. As it says in Ephesians 5:25, “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her…” (NASB)

But what exactly does that mean? Most likely, you aren’t called to literally die for your wife and children as Christ did for us. So what does it mean to love as Christ loves the Church? MORE

Kelsey Bolar: What feminism got wrong — and how to make it right
