APPLICATIONS FOR THE OUTDOOR ACTIVITY FUND ARE NOW OPEN
Recreation Aotearoa are delighted to be managing and distributing the Outdoor Activity Fund on behalf of Sport NZ. Its purpose is to increase participation of rangatahi in outdoor recreation and connect more rangatahi to their Māori culture through outdoor activity. This fund will be one of parity between Māori and non-Māori, that is, Tangata Whenua and Tangata Te Tiriti.
We have secured three years of funding at $500,000 per year and it is available for projects taking place in the 1 July 2022 - 30 June 2023 period. We will be accepting applications for multi-year projects that begin within this period (up to three years).
Applications open: 29 April 2022 and closes: 29 May 2022
*Please note, this fund is not a Kura ā Iwi managed fund but is open to Kura to support rangatahi!
