Cantonese Service

This Sunday at the Cantonese Service, Min. Sharon will share with us about "The Path of Grace."  Living in the the Grace of God and counting the Grace of the Lord will give us great hope and encouragement to continue walking on the Way of the Cross. May God encourage us, and may the Word of God be the lamp for our feet and the light unto our path.

OWL Sunday School

“He who did not spare His own Son,
but delivered Him up for us all,
how shall He not freely give us all things?”

Romans 8:32

Greetings OWL families,

This Sunday, the pre-schoolers and primary children will learn the story of Abraham giving his son to God (Genesis 21:1-8; 22:1-14). It delivers the messages:
  • God has provided a Saviour for you;
  • Trust God to Provide a Way;
  • Obey God Even When It’s Hard.

The preteens will continue looking at the ‘Attributes of God’.

We will hand out the June ‘Write a Verse a Day’ booklet to the children this Sunday. Our theme in June is ‘Honesty’. Parents, please keep encouraging your child(ren) to work on ‘Write a Verse a Day’ for May. It is a great way for our children to learn God’s words and be familiar with the Books in the Bible. Please bring back the completed booklet of May next week, and your children will get a small gift from the aunties (it will be a surprise for year 5 and year 6 children).

Hope to see you all on Sunday.

Blessings for a safe and joyful week.

Sister Michelle Hsueh is also stepping down from her position in the CCB. We also thank her very much for her service. Here is a message from her:

"Dear brothers and sisters, I thank you all very much for the encouragement and support you’ve given me over the last two years that I’ve served in the CCB. I have thoroughly enjoyed serving with the brothers and sisters in the CCB, and have learned a lot from the experience. Due to the commitment I have of serving in other ministries, I reluctantly step down from my role in the CCB. May God bless all members of the CCB, and continue to bless our Church through this team. Thank you all. In Christ, Michelle."
