EuroMarine Young Scientist Fellowship Programme 2022: Call for Participants
Deadline 30 June 2022 | Budget €800 | Early Career Researcher
EuroMarine provides individual fellowship grants to enable Early Career Researchers (ECRs) to attend a professional development activity of their choice. ECRs can apply for grant of up to €800 to contribute towards covering direct costs related to participation in a training event or field work.

EuroMarine 2022 Call for Proposals for Foresight Workshops (FSW)
Deadline 31 August 2022 | Budget €10,000
EuroMarine FSW provide an opportunity for research teams to scope and collaborate on an existing or emerging topic in marine science research. Workshops should take an innovative, “horizon scanning” approach to their topic and should target a scientific publication as an intended outcome.

EuroMarine 2022 Call for Proposals to Host EuroMarine School on Ocean Transformations
Deadline 31 August 2022 | Budget €25,000
In 2022, the EuroMarine Consortium launched a new call for proposals to host the inaugural EuroMarine School on Ocean Transformation. The School is an opportunity to host a training workshop that will equip attendees with new knowledge and innovative approaches to address ocean challenges. The school is expected to be held in 2023/24.

Call for Long-Term EuroMarine Scientific Working Groups 
Deadline September 2022 | Budget €12,500
The EuroMarine Consortium has allocated funding for the establishment of inclusive and multidisciplinary Long-Term Scientific Working Groups (WG). The aim of the Working Groups is to provide an open forum for discussion among EuroMarine members. In 2022, EuroMarine will fund two Working Groups.

Pilot Call for Research Grants for EuroMarine Early Career Researchers
Deadline 31 October 2022 | Budget €7,500 | Early Career Researcher
This call for proposals will offer a €7,500 grant to Early Career Researchers from EuroMarine Full Member Organisations to undertake an original and collaborative research project. The project must be led by 2-3 young scientists, from at least two different EuroMarine Organisations from two different countries.

OYSTER Call for Mentors 
OYSTER are currently seeking volunteers for their mentorship programme. The Mentors’ main role will be to respond to requests from Early Career Researchers (undergraduate to post-doctoral) in marine science and share knowledge, insights and perspectives with them.

EuroMarine PEARL Working Group

The EuroMarine members have expressed an interest in funding the PEARL Working Group (WG). The PEARL WG will comprise of early retired marine researchers. This Working Group will kick off in 2022.

Increasing Capacity Building of EuroMarine Members
EuroMarine will provide free upskilling training for its members to help them improve their skills to access to European funding for marine research.

EuroMarine Call for Candidates for 2022 Steering Committee Positions

EuroMarine will open an extraordinary call for candidates to join its Steering Committee (SC) in June 2022. In this call three positions will be opened.

Project Manager Vacancy through EuroMarine
