PARISH BULLETIN
Sixth Sunday of Easter

This week at Holy Spirit Parish, we are approaching the final days of the Easter season. As we enter into these late spring and summer months, and as we prepare for the great feasts of Our Lord's Ascension and Pentecost, which are the culmination of the Easter season, let us endeavor to not only maintain, but to grow the ways in which we pray, study, and serve with our parish community. It is in this way that we will carry out what Our Lord asks of us in this weekend's Gospel - to remember everything He told us with the help of the Holy Spirit, so that the Father and the Son together will find a worthy dwelling place in us.
IGNITE

Every family needs the support of ALL its members to thrive - and our parish family is no different. To thrive as a parish family, we have many needs that must be fulfilled. It takes the dedication of the whole family working together to fill all of the needs of the parish. Check out the video on IGNITE, a program to support parish vitality by bringing awareness to these unmet needs. Then, take a minute after Mass to view the IGNITE boards at each church. Discern what needs of the parish you are able to help fulfill! If you take a flame, please expect follow-up calls from the parish office soon!

Parish YouTube Channel

Please remember that if you are staying home from Mass due to illness or are otherwise looking to enrich your prayer life, make sure to check out our parish YouTube channel. There you can find live-streamed Masses as well as Morning Prayer, Night Prayer, and Adoration.

Great Give Day

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque's "Great Give Day" by contributing to Holy Spirit Parish and other worthy community organizations. We raised $1,821 and we were also randomly selected during one of the "Golden Ticket" hours to receive an additional $500 sponsored by Theisen's. These funds will be used for repairs to the stained glass windows at Holy Trinity and the clock-tower steeple at Sacred Heart. May God abundantly reward you for your generosity!
