The What? Where? When? Guide is the guide to all the events at Nowhere! If you want people to know about (and maybe even show up for) your event or workshop, put it in the guide!

Have you picked a shift yet?

As you know Nowhere is run by volunteers and we need you to make it happen. This includes setup, event-time and strike... Because Nowhere is not just a party in the desert.

Have you thought of allowing a couple hours of your time to take some shifts? Making food for La Cantina, being a NoMad, informing lost hippies at NoInfo... And, if you have any extra days after Nowhere, please consider staying longer on site and help to Leave No Trace!

What would Nowhere be without the Middle of Nowhere?

Our big red shade structure is the perfect space for giving a workshop, listening to a talk, performing on stage, late night jamming or simply hanging out! We need YOU to make the magic happen!

We need volunteers who have experience setting up stretch tents. We also need a Sound Lead and a Lighting Lead (or someone who can manage both?) to support the teams that set up, operate and take down the sound system and lighting rig. And if you are a performer or up for organizing a cabaret show (or anything like that) we’d love to hear from you too!

Feed and fluff volunteers during strike and build!

If you feel thankful for the volunteers' hard work creating the event, and want to give something back, then Cantina or Fluff is what you are looking for :D

This is a call for Cantina and Fluff On-Site Leads!

The person that we need as Cantina On-Site Lead should have the following profile:

Experience (not necessarily professional) with managing a team of 4 or more in a kitchen;
Experience (not necessarily professional) with preparing food for around 150 people and up to 3 different menus (we'll have omnivore, vegetarian and vegan options);
Fluent in English;
Ideally, some experience with La Cantina, but it is not strictly required.

The person that we need as Fluff On-Site Lead will have the responsibility to manage the Fluff on-site team, which means giving information, explaining how the team can take care of volunteers, trying to solve problems if they arise. For this role, it would be best to arrive on site at the end of the build (week 3) so that you can be trained by our Fluff Lead of past years.

You will probably be working in pairs, so that you may distribute the load of the task as it works best for the team at that time.
