Parish Feast Day: This weekend we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity– our parish feast day! There will be cake in the foyer following all the Masses so please stop by and enjoy a piece and connect with others in the community.

Spare Change for Open Door: Once again the parish is supporting the Open Door Centre by filling baby bottles with spare change and returning them by Fathers Day (June 19th). Open Door depends on the funding at this special time of the year to be able to offer free services to local vulnerable youth. There is a basket in the foyer to collect your bottles, so feel free to drop them off before or after Mass on weekends or weekdays. If you don’t have a bottle but would like to make a donation, envelopes are available for that purpose as well (simply note on the envelope ‘for Open Door’). Donations will be collected by Open Door on the 22nd of June.

Holy Hour, Wednesday June 15th, 7-8pm: The Knights of Columbus Council 7077 invite everyone to spend an hour in prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament praying for your own intentions but especially for a total renewal of Holy Trinity Parish. We will also be praying five decades of the Rosary. Deacon Art will be leading this Prayer Service.

Food Drive for Beacon House, Saturday June18th (9am-2:30pm): Drop off location, Holy Trinity parish parking lot (St. John Vianney Church). Items desperately needed include: non perishable food, baby diapers, baby food, health and beauty aids and any other hygiene products, etc. Thank you from the Knights of Columbus Council 7077.

Come And See!: Philip invited Nicodemus to come and see the man from Nazareth who would change his life. We too are called to do the same: invite people to personally encounter Jesus. This can sound like a daunting task.  There is help! The Archdiocese is inviting us to sign up for a four-session e-mail and video series that will help us discover the process of effectively inviting someone we know to Alpha. It will also help us to be confident in sharing our faith with others. While we will focus on how to invite, invoke, intercede, and invest, we can take comfort knowing that the Holy Spirit, the principal agent of evangelization, aids us in each of these works and gives us all the graces we need to act courageously. This video series is free and can be done on our own schedule. Find out more and sign up here: https://www.halifaxyarmouth.org/invite.
