June Is Busting Out All Over!

There is a song in the musical Carousel called June is Busting Out All Over. It’s always been one of my favorite show tunes, and boy am I really feeling that this month. I’ve been super busy with lots of activities and programs at the Center, as well as putting together the Summer Schedule, that will be coming out in a few weeks. Mostly it is going to be our ongoing classes and groups, as well as a few movies, and a special event or two. You can pick up the schedule at the Center starting at the end of the month, and I will include it in my e-blast in 2 weeks.
NEW ONLINE CONTENT, such as virtual tours, fitness videos, art lessons, recorded presentations and more are still being posted Monday - Thursday at Noon on our Programs page by clicking HERE.

JUNE ART GALLERY EXHIBIT- KATHLEEN GOODHART, ESTHER COLE AND KAREN RIEDY
Watercolors
The “Gallery” is open for viewing Monday - Friday 10am – 4pm daily and before and after worship services.
Kathleen Goodhart, and her two daughters, Esther Cole (our church administrator from 2017-2021) and Karen Riedy, have put together a wonderful show of their watercolor paintings for us this June. Stop by this month and take a look at these works from an intuitive artist, and her two daughters who learned to love and create art while watching their mother paint as they grew up.

Join us on Mondays for casual and fun Open Play of classic table games. Bring your own favorite game to play, or choose from ones we have here at the Center like Clue, Parcheesi, Boggle, Phase 10, Scatergories, Dominos, Monopoly and more!

"SOUL" LINE DANCING

Where can you dance with a room full of people, yet dance by yourself? Get fit and have fun as you line dance to R&B, Jazz, Hip-Hop, the "Philly" Sound, classic oldies, the latest soul favorites, and more. Gloria will help you make this simple and easy activity, a feel-good form of exercise. NO PARTNER NEEDED!!! ALL Levels Welcome. Instructor, Gloria Kingcade - Master "Soul" Line Dance Teacher with More than 2 Decades of Experience. In Jan. 2001, Ms. Kingcade founded “D.A.S.H.E.R.S. Entertainment Network” (Dancing And Singing Help Everyone Relieve Stress), a business she created after leaving a 9-year stressful job. She has received many recognitions, and is dedicated to preserving the "Philly Style" of line dancing.

Back by popular demand, your instructor Michael Kraus, will guide you through lessons featuring songs from the past. Learn about the musical roots of songs you have known since childhood, and songs you still love to sing along with today. This class will be entertaining, engaging, educational and fun!
