In this webinar, ESCAP and OECD, will present the findings from the Asia-Pacific Digital Trade Regulatory Report (APDTR) 2022, which provide a comprehensive review of the digital trade policy environment across selected economies. The report reviews different regulatory approaches applied in the selected economies to provide a preliminary step toward evidence-based dialogues. A panel session that include representatives of academic-,public-, regional- and international bodies, will follow it to discuss the way forward for regulatory cooperation among the economies in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, the discussions will also focus on the technical assistance required to ensure that trade, driven by digital technologies, will continue to support countries in special situations in meeting their sustainable development goals.
