This year's Youth Ministry Summit will be held on Saturday, August 13, from 9:30a-5p ET at the St. Joseph Retreat & Conference Center in Tipton. The focus of the summit will be on understanding how to help young people encounter Jesus, especially through the Eucharist, and how to better reach out to them with the love and truth of Christ.
Our featured speaker is Michael "Gomer" Gormley. Gomer has been leading evangelization and ministry efforts for over 15 years, both as a full-time parish staff member and as a speaker and consultant for parishes, dioceses, and Catholic campus ministries. He currently serves as the Director of Evangelization and Youth Ministry at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in The Woodlands, Texas. Michael is also the cohost of Every Knee Shall Bow, a podcast about Catholic evangelization.
