KSS Health and Social Care

Next level

We were delighted to welcome Matt Whitty, CEO of the Accelerated Access Collaborative, colleagues from NHS E, and from across the health and care system in Kent, Surrey and Sussex, together with industry partners, to a day-long meeting at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (SASH) yesterday.

Over the course of the day we were able to showcase the collaborations and partnerships that are getting innovations to patients more quickly, especially in areas where we know they will have the biggest impact on healthcare inequalities. Delegates heard about a range of approaches, from our work with children and young people to respiratory, cancer, care homes and innovator support.

Many thanks to all of those from across Kent, Surrey and Sussex, and beyond, who gave a presentation, showcased their innovation or contributed to the rich and varied discussions.

And finally, a big thank you to Angela Stevens, Chief Executive, and the SASH team for hosting us at East Surrey Hospital.
