Prayer during “Covid respite” for our staff and lay leaders:
Pray that those seeking respite will receive holy rest. Not just physical rest, but the kind that comes from abiding and trusting in You. As the staff and laity depart for their Covid respite, send them forth with your blessing, fill them with your Spirit, and bring them again into our presence with renewed life. Pray also that those who are “covering” our worship, administrative and building essential services will be embraced by the arms of the mystery of Your love, and supported by all those worshiping, using our building and seeking administrative assistance. We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Brother and Savior. Amen.

FYI Respite
Please note: there will be NO FYI published on June 17 or June 24, during the staff and laity Covid respite period. Publication will resume July 1.
During the Covid respite, we will be offering the service of Morning Prayer, led by an officiant and preacher. Worship will be offered via Zoom only, which means you are welcome to view worship on the Zoom screen from your home, or a Zoom screen on a tablet, phone or laptop in church. There will be no music on these Sundays, since we are giving our Music Director a break also!
Thank you to all of you who have kept current with your pledges. If you are behind on your pledge commitments, it would be greatly appreciated if you could make every effort to bring your pledges up-to-date during the summer months!
Your very grateful Vestry
Housing Need
A Honduran family of three, living in a church in Peabody and gainfully employed, is experiencing a housing crisis, and is looking for a month's stay somewhere near Peabody that would buy them some more time to search for permanent housing. If you know of any housing that would be open for the month of June, please let me know.
Thank you for considering this holy work of walking with this family through life's biggest challenges. Marya+
