Some important info & reminders before you depart:

🐕 Sorry, No Animals!

We're sorry to have to exclude your fur babies, but Otherworld is strictly no animals. Anyone arriving with a pet in tow will be turned around at the gate. 

* The only exception is for legally documented and registered service animals

🧸 Flailed ‘n Found: Please drop off or find lost items at Center Camp

👽 Otherworld Is Not The Default World: Behave accordingly

👯 Consent Applies Everywhere At All Times: interpersonal, physical touch & taking photos/video

📸 Media Etiquette:

• Ask before taking anyone's photo

• Obfuscate faces you don't know

• Give proper credit to artists

• Tag people accordingly

REMINDER:

Otherworld gates will open Thursday, June 16th, at 11 AM 

DO NOT FORGET to bring a valid government-issued ID that matches the name on your ticket to guarantee entry to the event

Unregistered early arrivals will be placed in the "D" Lot: 

The D lot has no water or shade, just sad, parched, sunburned hippies trying to get enough wifi to change a ticket to the same name as the ID they left at home.

Thanks for helping us get everyone home and please, stay in your vehicle while at Gate.

Otherworld recognizes and extends our gratitude for the ability to gather and be present on the unceeded territory of the Ts'uubaa- asatx Nation, "People of the Lake", (formerly known as Lake Cowichan Fist Nations).

The Ts’uubaa-asatx Nation is a self-determining, innovative, progressive and prosperous nation. Distinct with roots to the Dididaht group of tribes, who continue to govern in a harmonious and balanced way, inclusive of all members, valuing relationships, customs, and traditions, with honour and respect for our culture and the environment, continuing for future generations.

Today, Ts'uubaa-satx has approximately 30 people residing on its reserve and many more wanting to come back home. Although small in size, Ts'uubaa-satx is embarking on following the community’s voices, connected to land and culture.
