We’re Back and We’re Live!
The TD Markham Jazz Festival is a must-see stop on the Ontario circuit of live music festivals each summer. After two quiet seasons, we’re going live again! And, we’re celebrating our 25th anniversary in style!

- Week of August 13–20 – Jazz Hot Spots all over Markham
- August 17 (Wednesday) – Opening Night Concert (ticketed) at the Markham Museum
- August 19–21 (Friday to Sunday) – 30+ free outdoor concerts along Main St. Unionville
Key things to know about this year’s festival
Returning attendees know the charm of historic, walkable Unionville, the choice of jazz and blues to suit every taste, and the incredible fact that, thanks to our valued sponsors and grant providers, all stages are FREE!
- See headliners Manteca, Molly Johnson, Shakura S’Aida, Amanda Tosoff with Emily-Claire Barlow and many favourite artist “alumni” from the past 24 years.

The TD Markham Jazz Festival is a not-for-profit organization with a mandate to enrich cultural life in the region by bringing emerging and established jazz artists to Markham for all to enjoy. Established in 1998, the festival draws more than 25,000 residents and visitors to the streets of Unionville during the third weekend in August. Local and international artists deliver over 30 open-air performances during the weekend as well as in selected “hot spots” and at a ticketed opening-night concert. During the year, the festival hosts “Hot Spot Concerts” at selected venues in Markham. TD Canada Trust became its title sponsor in 2014.
