This Bulletin is published bi-monthly on even-numbered months to keep members updated with items of general company information. A copy is emailed directly from the Company to each member for whom the Company holds an email address. Hard-copies are not distributed by the Company but may be available through Branch Secretaries.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Annual General Meeting of the NZ Company of Master Mariners will be held on Wednesday 10 August 2022 at The Canterbury Club, 129 Cambridge Terrace, Christchurch (cnr Cambridge Terrace/Worcester Boulevard). Assembly from 1200, luncheon 1300, AGM to follow. A meeting of the Executive will precede the meeting.

All members are invited to attend. Partners are welcome.

We are delighted to announce that Dr Richard Davies, husband of the Governor General, has accepted our invitation to be the Patron of the NZ Company of Master Mariners. Biography of Dr Davies.

MEMBERSHIP MATTERS

With great regret we record the death, on 10 June, of Captain Julian Lillico VRD (Wellington Branch). We extend our condolences to wife Ann, son Mark, and daughter Kirsty.

We are pleased to welcome Captain Steve Lenik RNZN and Commander Peter Kempster RNZN, (Wellington Branch) as members.
