Join us for an uplifting day of interactive workshop sessions, powerful keynote speeches, exhibition stands and more at the University of Wolverhampton (Walsall Campus).


Keynote speakers include:

Dr Halima Begum, CEO, The Runnymede Trust

Dr Halima Begum is Chief Executive and Director of the Runnymede Trust, the UK's leading race equality think tank. She has held senior leadership roles with government, non-profit, philanthropy and international public sector organisations including the UK's Department for International Development, the British Council and LEGO Foundation. In 2021 the Shaw Trust Disability Power 100 named Begum one of the most influential disabled people in the UK. This followed her inclusion on similar lists of influential British-Bangladeshis.

  • Developing racial literacy as part of the journey to becoming an anti-racist organisation
  • A national approach to anti-racism in education in Wales
  • Teaching history: Cynefin and the story of diversity in Wales
  • Anti-racist approaches to Initial Teacher Training
