I can’t believe this is my last weekly memo. It has been a privilege getting to know the students, parents and community. I am very excited for Dr. Christine Gray to take the helm as your new principal for the 2022-2023 school year.
The last day for students is June 14th and it will be a half day. We will have a cookout and the Darlings Ice Cream truck will be here as well. We have been raising pennies for puppies and this money will be collected and donated to the SPCA on this day.
There are a lot of class trips between now and the end of school, please make sure your child has the appropriate clothing. ( and possibly a bagged lunch if required)
We had a lovely promotion ceremony for all of our 8th graders this week. Welcome to high school, MDI class of 2026!
I will be the interim principal until June 30th. After that I will be back to the high school doing guidance. I look forward to working with your children as they come through high school.
Have a safe & fun filled summer!
