Celebrating the Birthday of the Church this Sunday
Before we get to our new summer sermon series on June 12th, we take a Sunday to celebrate Pentecost, the birthday of the church, when God's promised Holy Spirit fell upon Jesus' first disciples.

Join us for communion and a meaningful worship service as we sing and pray together, "Come, Holy Spirit, come!" and reflect upon the reality of this well within us from which living waters flow.

Whether in-person or on YouTube,
we look forward to seeing you at 11:15am Sunday!

COMING IN ONE WEEK!:

Church Vision Meeting

All congregants are invited to join us in the church fellowship hall from 9am to 12 noon on Saturday, June 11th for an important gathering where we will dream and vision together, set goals and establish objectives together, as we emerge from the pandemic and into the new landscape of ministry that surrounds us.
NEW Series Starting June 12th!
Join Us As We Take You Out to the Ball Game!

This summer, we'll be delving into the minor prophets. And to kick things off on June 12th, we're going to be having a skit called "Who's on the Team?" inspired by Abbott and Costello's "Who's on First?" Which minor prophet will be where on the field? And what will each team member have to say to us? Join us starting June 12th and every Sunday this summer for a memorable series that's sure to knock things out of the park!
Calling All Baseball Related Items

Since we're taking you out to the ball game each Sunday, and since we might even buy you some peanuts and Cracker Jacks (for those not allergic to them!), we invite you to donate bats, batting gloves, helmets, jerseys and hats (of any team), baseballs or anything related to the sport that we can borrow and use to decorate the sanctuary with. Thank you in advance for your help!
Mark Your Calendars

for our Yard Sale on July 2nd!
And the week before, on Saturday, June 25th, our friends over at Montville UMC are having a Vintage Trunk Treasures Sale from 9am to 4pm.

Relay for Life

As a whole, our Relay For Life team has raised over $3500, and more donations are still coming in! We hope you'll join us for our community Relay For Life event on Saturday, June 11th from 5 to 11pm at the Montville Township High School track and be a part of our church's Relay For Life team. It’s not too late to join if you haven’t yet!

The theme this year is crazy hats, and we invite you to join us as we put a cap on cancer together!

Also, are you a cancer survivor? Or are you someone who has lost a family member or close friend to cancer? If so, we invite you to be a part of a special ceremony happening later in the evening at the Relay for Life event on June 11th. We will honor all those who are cancer survivors and those who have died from cancer, and we invite you to consider purchasing a luminary bag in honor of someone at
www.relayforlife.org/greatermontvillenj.

Hungry to Whole

Inspired by “The Daniel Plan” book and John Wesley’s Holy Clubs, Hungry to Whole is grounded in Psalm 107:9 – “God satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things” (NIV). Our prayer is that those who come hungry each week would leave whole in more than one way.

Join us for our next Dinner Gatherings (potluck style)
Wednesday, June 15th and Wednesday, June 29th, 6:30-8:00pm at MUMC

Bring a dish to share and invite a friend, neighbor, or co-worker!
